Newcastle United hero Rob Lee says they should sell Demba Ba next month.

Arsenal look set to trigger Ba's £7.5million release clause in January, with boss Alan Pardew keen on £10m Marseille star Loic Remy to fill the gap.

And Lee told The Sun: "I'll be sad to see him go but if I was a betting man I'd have to say he won't be at Newcastle after the transfer window.

"Even though I have my doubts about whether he can play up front in a two with Papiss Cisse, he'd obviously leave a massive void because of his goal record.

"But if he's committed to the club, why does he have the release clause?"
