Hatem Ben Arfa doesn't want to be rested for Newcastle United's Carling Cup tie with Chelsea.
Ben Arfa is hungry to take part in Wednesday's Carling Cup test in the capital.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "I now must focus myself and concentrate on the match on Wednesday night. It's a game we all want to play in."
The United faithful chanted the name of the 23-year-old at Goodison Park, who hopes it's the start of a long relationship with the fans.
He said: "I love the supporters here - they give me so much confidence.
"They've backed me all the way since I've been here, and I want to keep on repaying them."
