Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan is likely to return to the starting line-up for Sunday's trip to Liverpool.
The 12-goal midfielder has missed the past two Magpies games because of suspension but has also been carrying a slight muscle strain which the club has been cautious with.
However, he has been included in Alan Pardew's matchday squad for the visit to Anfield and the 'Toon will be hoping he plays as he has been a constant source of inspiration this season.
