Newcastle have Remy fee settled with QPR over permanent deal

Newcastle United have a fee agreed with QPR for the permanent signing of Loic Remy.

The Journal says Toon have negotiated an option to buy Remy in the loan agreement struck with Queens Park Rangers over the summer.

While United will steer clear of publicly declaring their intentions on Remy, the club view the deal as more than just a season-long loan deal and made provision in the initial deal to broker a permanent move in the summer if it suits all parties.

A fee has been pre-agreed and United would have first option to buy if both the player and Newcastle want to make the deal permanent.
