Paris Saint-Germain have turned down Newcastle's first offer of £5m for striker Mevlut Erdinc, reports the Daily Mail. The Magpies have been told to up their offer if they want to land the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Andy Carroll, who is wanted by Birmingham and Stoke City.
The Turkey star finished the campaign as his club's top scorer with 15 Ligue 1 goals in 30 games.
