Newcastle United have offered Dennis Wise a pay-off.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle have given Wise a £1.5million pay-off to leave the club.
Owner Mike Ashley has paid the club's executive director (football) a full year's salary as part of the fresh start under Alan Shearer.
It means former Swindon and Leeds manager Wise has been paid £3m for just over 12 months' work.
