Newcastle United are chasing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.
The People says the Toon are heading a three-club chase for £7million United misfit Zaha.
Zaha, 21, has tried to impress new boss Louis van Gaal, but a big-money offer will still spell the end of his brief spell at Old Trafford.
Former club Crystal Palace and Championship side Nottingham Forest are also keen on a loan deal for the England prospect, who worked with boss Stuart Pearce at under-21 level.
Forest coach Brian Eastick, however, was reluctant to talk up the prospect earlier this week.
