Newcastle have been offered the chance to sign Gremio forward Luan.
The 24-year-old, recently called up to the Brazil national team squad, has long been a target of Liverpool.
But The Sun claims Rafa Benitez has been offered Luan. And he can end his long search for a striker by forking out £17.5million.
The Magpies boss is desperate to add more firepower to his squad before Wednesday's deadline.
Feyenoord striker Nicolas Jorgensen has been mooted to join the Tyneside club. But Luan would represent a valuable signing for Newcastle after amassing 36 goals in over 130 appearances for the Brazilian club.
