Newcastle United fullback James Tavernier is ready for a new loan move away next season.
Tavernier knows he needs to play more senior games before the manager can give him a run in the first team.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "For me, it's all about getting as many games as I can. If I do that, it'll obviously make me a better player.
"I've got to work hard in training and become a better player, if I do that, I'll get to where I want to be.
"I've been really close to the first team. I feel I've really progressed, but need to get better every season. Hopefully, next season I can get a lot more games and maybe get out on loan.
"You can't really challenge for a first-team spot if you're on the outskirts. You need a big level of experience on your shoulders.
"That's what I want to get. Hopefully, that can get me into the Premier League, and then I'll be flying."
