Newcastle United fullback James Tavernier hopes to see Europa League action tonight against Maritimo.

The 21-year-old is having the time of his life pulling on the fluorescent European shirt in the competition.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I have enjoyed every game I have played in.

"If we qualify in the next European game, we will have more games coming up so there is a lot to be positive about.

"There is the FA Cup too. I am just hoping to get more games."
