Newcastle United fullback Danny Simpson is confident proving himself an established Premier League player.
At 24, and after stints at Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, Simpson has plenty of experience in the top flight.
But the Salford lad admits that only consistency will allow him to improve as a Premier League player.
The former Royal Antwerp and Ipswich Town loan star told the Evening Chronicle: "Last season was my first full year in the Premier and I want to improve on things in my second year.
"I will be kicking on.
"It's not just me personally, but last year we finished 12th and we want to finish higher than that and build on it."
