Newcastle United fullback Danny Simpson says their 5-1 derby thrashing of Sunderland will count for nothing today.
Sunderland have used the embarrassment to fight a rearguard action this season.
Simpson said: "That's gone, we have milked it enough now. We have enjoyed it for the last few months and the fans have enjoyed talking about it, but we come to Sunday and that's forgotten.
"We know we have got to win just for ourselves and again for the fans so we can gloat a little bit more, hopefully.
"Every one of them will want their revenge. They won't want to be humiliated again and the fact that it is at their ground and their manager has been saying one or two things to fire everyone up, they will be more dangerous.
"We have got to forget about the home game. It is a completely fresh, one-off game again."
