Newcastle United defender Davide Santon has admitted anger after his gaffe in defeat at Benfica.
Santon has apologised to his team-mates and has vowed to make amends - starting against Fulham.
Santon has been one of Newcastle's best performers this season but the former Inter Milan star said: "I am feeling angry with myself because I had a good game but that pass was a disaster.
"As a defender, you have to make sure your pass is right but I had Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa near me so I couldn't see the striker.
"It was really annoying so when I got in the dressing room I said sorry to all my team-mates because it was my fault."
