Newcastle United fullback Shane Ferguson is aiming to build on last season's first team breakthrough.
Ferguson could well be a contender to fill that left-back void, but with United also in the hunt for Swansea City star Neil Taylor the young Irishman can't afford to rest easy.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "At the end of last season I said that once you have had a taste of the first team you just want more and more of it.
"That's the aim again, you don't want to be dropping back into the reserve team with the greatest respect.
"Jose Enrique has been great with me and I have had some great advice from him.
"I've took things from him that I can carry into my own game.
"There is no greater buzz then playing in front of a full house in the Premier League.
"Once you've done that, you know exactly what you want to take from the game."
