Newcastle United fullback Shane Ferguson is ready to step in for Jose Enrique.
Enrique has collected a hamstring injury in the past week.
Ferguson told the Evening Chronicle: "Losing Jose was a big loss - he's been unbelievable this season.
"But hopefully, I'll keep on impressing, and get my chance.
"It's an unbelievable opportunity and it's great that the manager has that bit of faith in me. It's great to know he has time for me.
"I will just go out and give it my all and take it from there.
"I was so happy to be out there - to walk out in front of 50,000 was a dream come true.
"If I'm needed against Stoke City in the next first team game I'm ready."
