Newcastle United are interested in Arsenal fullback Kieran Gibbs.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle are turning their full attentions to Gibbs, who would represent a major coup but will only happen if Arsene Wenger has adequate cover for Nacho Monreal.
Gibbs has fallen behind Monreal in the pecking order at Arsenal and has started just two games in the Barclays Premier League this season.
The 26-year-old's chances of making England's Euro 2016 squad in the summer are suffering with his lack of action and a move away could be seen as a good route to the tournament in France.
