Newcastle United fear being crowded out in the battle for Burnley striker Danny Ings.

The Evening Chronicle says Newcastle fear they will be trumped for the services of Ings this summer.

Ings had been lined up as one of United's top targets, but a fine debut season in the Premier League has resulted in others stepping and taking notice.

The Burnley star - who has netted nine goals this season - is being tracked by Liverpool and Manchester United.
