Newcastle fans urged to protest against Pardew during Cardiff clash

Newcastle United supporters have been implored to leave this weekend's fixture with Cardiff City in their droves in a bid to oust Alan Pardew as manager.

Influential Magpies fans website nufc.com has urged supporters to vote with their feet by leaving Saturday's home meeting with the Bluebirds early following a six-game losing streak by their team.

Pardew has overseen Newcastle's most Premier League losses in one season and has become the first Toon boss to lose six consecutive top flight matches which has prompted a possible walk-out this weekend.

"Given the team's current rate of implosion, even sticking around for an hour might be beyond the call of duty," read nufc.com.

"The lack of unity is glaringly evident and mirrors the fractured relationship between manager and fans. There's a clear need for a figurehead at this club to restore some self-respect, organisation and belief.

"That man is not Alan Pardew."
