Newcastle United fans are organising a protest march for before their clash with Liverpool next weekend.
The Evening Chronicle says a final meeting with the local council is due to take place today to finalise the route, but both they and the police have granted permission for the protest to go ahead.
Time 4 Change, the group behind the march, is hopeful of at least 1,000 people turning up on Saturday, October 19. Time 4 Change has brought together a number of supporters' groups and they believe now more than ever there exists an appetite to force out billionaire businessman Mike Ashley.
