Newcastle United fans are already booing on-loan Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood.

Harewood was barracked by fans during Newcastle's victory over Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

"Marlon's a great lad who walked into the changing room and got on with everyone," said Toon midfielder Kevin Nolan. "They're the type of characters we want.

"I was disappointed for him but we've all had it as players. We just have to get on with it. He'll bounce back and score goals, we know that. I'm sure they'll soon be singing his name again."
