Newcastle United must wait to land Lille fullback Mathieu Debuchy.

Lille chief Frederic Paquet says they won't sell Debuchy until they sign a replacement.

Newcastle have hopes of closing a deal before the weekend, but Paquet said: "There are two conditions for him to leave: firstly, we must sign his replacement and secondly the right offer must arrive."
