Mike Ashley will face a huge compensation bill should he sack Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew.
The Evening Chronicle says Ashley was understandably unhappy after the 4-0 loss to Southampton but the only way the Toon tycoon could change manager in time for the next clash will be if Pardew hands in his resignation or the pair can agree a pay off.
Should Ashley decide to sack Pardew the Toon boss would be entitled to compensation for the remainder of his five year deal.
Pardew's coaching staff are also on the same deal as the manager and Ashley could be faced with a huge bill if he decides to change boss.
