Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is considering a January raid on the Eredivisie.

Vitesse Arnhem midfielder Milot Rashica has been offered to Benitez by Toon scouts.

Rashica, 21, is a Kosovo international, having previously been capped by Albania.

The attacker is regarded highly in Holland and interesting Newcastle, though Benitez's transfer plans are being complicated by the club's takeover negotiations.

Also creating difficulties are Chelsea, which enjoy a formal partnership with Vitesse. Any major sale must be run by Chelsea before approval.
