Newcastle United are eyeing Parma striker Valeri Bojinov.
The former Manchester City flop has rebuilt his career in Italy, where he has been starring for Parma over the last 12 months.
Newcastle have been mentioned as potential suitors for Bojinov, along with French giants Bordeaux.
Parma are resigned to losing the striker and already are sounding out potential replacements for the January market.
At Newcastle, Bojinov could arrive as a direct replacement for Leon Best, who is set to be offloaded next month.
