Curtis Good has had his trial with Newcastle United extended after impressing during his initial spell.
The 19-year old Melbourne Heart defender joined the Magpies a little under two weeks ago on a 10-day trial which was due to have finished early this week.
But the Premier League's fourth-placed club have moved the end date to this Friday as they want to continue running the rule over Australian Institute of Sport product Good who had a breakout 2011/12 season with the Heart in the A-League.
