Newcastle, Everton alerted as Bent unsettled at Spurs

Darren Bent is unsettled at Tottenham.
The Mirror says Bent is ready to quit Spurs following the return of £15million love rival Jermain Defoe.
Bent is believed to be devastated at Defoe's return and would welcome the chance to resurrect his career at a northern club such as Newcastle or Everton.
Boss Harry Redknapp is believed to be willing to listen to offers for the former Charlton marksman.
Bent's relationship with some of his other team-mates at Spurs has also deteriorated.
It is understood some players were unimpressed at a lack of respect shown to Ledley King in a dressing-room incident last year after the club captain had returned from treatment in America.

Bent has been hampered by injuries this season, and seeing Redknapp's insistence on playing the less effective Pavlyuchenko puzzles me and a few other Spurs mates...
Bent is a dangerous poacher in the BPL, as we have seen at Charlton, where the services are severely non-existent as to compared to Spurs, and yet, he managed to score that many goals season after season. Give Bent more playing time and he will come right.
Bent has had a big chance to prove himself and he has failed, for spurs to bring back Defoe to take his place, that must say something.I think spurs should cut their losses and sell him.Defoe might have not had a sniff in today's match but you always know he will give you something,as for Bent you never know what he is going to bring.
why would he want to leave over something so pathetic why dont they just patch things up and form a partnership thats more dangerous than berbatov and rooney.
