Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has been assured they will hold onto Jamaal Lascelles.

The captain has been linked with Chelsea, while Toon striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is wanted by Napoli.

But Newcastle are apparently not looking to sell any key first-team players in January.

According to the Northern Echo, there has been interest in striker Mitrovic and Lascelles.

But it is reported that the Magpies have no intention of letting the duo leave.
