Newcastle United are seeking a £15.5million fee for Moussa Sissoko.

According to the Daily Mail, Italian giants AC Milan have made an enquiry about the French midfielder but have been told in no uncertain terms that they will have to splash out if they are to successfully lure him from St James' Park.

26-year-old Sissoko is central to Steve McClaren's plans this season and will not be allowed to leave on the cheap as the Magpies look to keep their most important players in the north east.

Sissoko, who was also linked with Arsenal earlier in the summer, has started both of Newcastle's Premier League matches this campaign and is not about to be offloaded by the Toon.
