Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has confessed he's learning Spanish.

But the Geordie insists it's not in preparation for a move to the La Liga, instead it's to communicate better with skipper Fabricio Coloccini.

He told the Sunday Sun: "I'm learning a bit of Spanish, not enough yet to know how to tell him how to get a haircut in Spanish!

"If someone can teach me that I'll use it!"
