Crystal Palace have pulled out of talks with Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor.
The Telegraph says Palace's move for Newcastle centre-half Taylor has collapsed over wages. Manager Tony Pulis is operating with one of the lowest budgets in the top flight.
A £3m deal for Blackburn defender Scott Dann is in the balance.
