Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor was full of praise for Joey Barton after their 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
Taylor refused to cast judgement on the decision to send off Arsenal frontman Gervinho but praised the performance of Barton.
"It is not for me to comment, the referee made his decision at the end of the day so I can't say anything about that. I didn't see a thing," he said.
"He (Barton) played fantastically today and he is a big player for us, he was great today."
