Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has thrown his support behind manager Alan Pardew.
Doubts over Pardew has crept in after a frustrating season for Toon.
Taylor has urged Geordie fans to put aside their discontent on Saturday night when United take on Liverpool, and help the team make a huge leap towards Premier League survival.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "We want these three points so bad, and hopefully that'll happen on Saturday.
"We're behind the manager, and he's behind the players. We have to deliver.
"The confidence is there, and we need everyone behind us until the end of the season. The staff and players are together, wanting to do well."
