Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is up for their clash with Anzhi in the Europa League tomorrow night.

Taylor is excited to test himself against Samuel Eto'o.

Taylor swapped shirts with Eto'o when he last faced him on his Magpies debut against Real Mallorca in 2004.

Geordie one-club man Taylor, 27, joked: "I am sure if I ask him he would say Steven who? He will not have a clue who I am.

"I still have his shirt and it is framed in my house.

"He still has my shirt as his duster. He might bring it to the game with all the cobwebs on it!

"Seriously though, I never thought I would get to play against him ever again. The chance to play against a top-quality player like him is going to be good."
