Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is convinced they're building a team the Toon Army can be excited about.

After Moussa Sissoko and Yoann Gouffran's hard-working displays helped see off third-placed Chelsea, Taylor is already eyeing another top-four scalp.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "They give it their all, and I think the fans appreciate that.

"The way Yoan Gouffran chases back is unbelievable.

"He was so tired after the game. But that's what it's all about - doing everything for the cause.

"I think the boys did that against Chelsea.

"And we can do it again at Spurs."
