Newcastle United's James Tavernier is set to join League One club MK Dons on loan.
The Evening Chronicle reports that the 20-year old defender will spend the remainder of the season in Milton Keynes.
Tavernier, who has recently had loan spells with Sheffield Wednesday, Carlisle United and Gateshead, joins Magpies teammate Alan Smith at the Dons.
