Lens midfielder Mehdi Abeid is attracting Premier League interest.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has a deal in place for Abeid.

The 18 year-old is expected to join Toon on a free transfer after successful trials.

Abeid was released from his contract at Lens last season.
