Newcastle United have distanced themselves from a move for Palermo striker Abel Hernandez.
The Evening Chronicle says the Palermo star is keen to play in the Premier League and has talked up the possibility of a move to United.
However, the Magpies aren't panicking in the last 18 days of the transfer window having signed nine new players.
It is believed that while they are open to the possibility of signing another new face they feel the bulk of the work is done.
