Thomas Cook Sport has extended its partnership with Newcastle United, remaining the club's official travel partner until the end of 2013, reports SportsPro. According to an official press release, the partnership will see the Peterborough-based travel company continue to provide travel for supporters, teams and officials, in addition to offering exclusive travel packages to supporters for Newcastle's European matches.
The financial terms of Thomas Cook Sport's partnership extension were not released.
Newcastle United head of partnerships, Dale Aitchison, said: "Through the existing partnership with Thomas Cook Sport, we have built an excellent relationship and I am delighted that we can announce the extension.
"We look forward to working with Thomas Cook Sport to support our mutual goals and ensure more fans can watch the team at home and abroad, as we go from strength-to-strength both on and off the pitch," added Aitchison.
Danny Talbot, managing director of Thomas Cook Sport, said: "It's fantastic news that we've extended our partnership with Newcastle United Football Club. We've built a strong relationship with the club and fans over the last three years, and we look forward to expanding our successful partnership over the coming seasons."
