Newcastle consider bid for AIK striker Mohamed Bangura

Newcastle United are tracking AIK Solna striker Mohamed Bangura.

The People says Bangura is up for sale at Swedish club AIK Solna – and up for grabs for around £1.2m. The Sierra Leone hitman has been watched by the Toon for a couple of months and now his team will sell the 22-year-old.

Bangura would probably qualify for a work permit on appeal despite his country’s lowly FIFA ranking – and the price on his head may appeal to owner Mike Ashley.

AIK were going to offer Bangura a new deal, but they have decided to cash in – with Spanish side Mallorca also keen.

He is apparently signing for Celtic

As said here, he will never be sold for that sum (won´t even mention it). According to media in Sweden, AIK won´t let him go for less then 4 M Euro.

B u t! That is still a great bargain for Newcastle. Bangura is absolut topclass, a complete player who got it all; dribbling, physical ability, hard working, very very smart, hard shooting, relatively fast. The only reason he´s not sold yet is because he hasn´t scored that much this year.

He could have, though. But decided to pass the ball på Ibrahim instead.

Newcastle would make a great deal bying him, the best player I´ve ever seen in Swedish league, including Henrik Larsson among others (haven´t seen Ibra or Freddie in the league though).

Hope u go for it!

The £1.2m pricetag is compleatly wrong.
AIK just turned a £2.2m bid on M Bangura down.
