Newcastle United will travel to Portugal at the end of July to compete in the Guadiana Torneo, reports the official club website. The three-team tournament will be held between Thursday, 26th July and Saturday, 28th July at the Algarve Stadium, near Faro.
As well as the Magpies, current Portuguese Liga champions FC Porto and Greek giants Olympiacos will also take part in the pre-season competition, which will give Alan Pardew's side some vital match practice ahead of the 2012/13 campaign.
