Newcastle United have confirmed an elbow injury for goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Krul will be assessed before Saturday's game against Leicester after scans on his elbow injury showed ligament damage.
The 26-year-old sustained the problem during a training session with Holland on Saturday and returned to Tyneside before the Oranje's shock 2-0 loss in Iceland on Monday.
"Newcastle United have received the results of goalkeeper Tim Krul's scan on Monday," a statement on nufc.co.uk read.
"It showed ligament damage to his left elbow and Krul will be assessed further by the Magpies' medical staff ahead of Saturday's Barclays Premier League fixture against Leicester City.''
