Newcastle United are confident signing Lille fullback Mathieu Debuchy next month.
The Sunday Mirror says Debuchy, 27, a pal of Newcastle star Yohan Cabaye, is keen on a move but Newcastle were unable to agree a deal in August.
But it is understood the Magpies will get their man if they put around £6million on the table next month.
