Newcastle United have completed the signing of defender Daryl Janmaat from Feyenoord.
The 24-year old Holland international has penned a six-year deal with the Magpies for an undisclosed fee following a stellar performance at the 2014 World Cup.
Right-back Janmaat arrives at St James' Park after the departure of Mathieu Debuchy to Arsenal and is looking forward to helping the north east club rise up the Premier League table.
"Newcastle is a fantastic club, with a big history and a great stadium. I have also been told all about how great the fans are," he told the club's official website.
"This is the perfect move for me, and I am really looking forward to being with the team and getting started here at Newcastle.
"I think we are going to have a great season."
