Newcastle coach Clark: Huntington's Leeds move good for all

Newcastle United reserves coach Lee Clark says Paul Huntington's move to Leeds last week was good business for the club and the player.

Clark explained to the Evening Chronicle: "Paul going to Leeds gives one of our youngsters a great opportunity and a chance to stake their claim.

"It means that one of the Academy lads will get their chance.

"Paul was happy with the move to Leeds, they are still a big club and it shows that the Academy is doing its job.

"It gives a player we have developed a career elsewhere in the Football League and it provides us with a transfer fee that we can plough back into the Academy or put into the manager's transfer fund."
