Newcastle United are on the verge of securing the services of Tenerife youngster Ayoze Perez.
The Guardian reports that the Magpies will pay £1.8million for the 20-year old striker who is believed to have already passed a medical.
Perez will reportedly sign a five-year deal with the Toon but will remain with Tenerife for the final few games of the 2013/14 season.
The promising talent, who will start in Newcastle's U21s next season, has scored 16 goals in Spain's Segunda Division this term.
