Newcastle United have completed the signing of Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback.
Sky Sports says he becomes Newcastle's first permanent first-team addition for 18 months and the first senior signing made by new managing director, Lee Charnley.
He is understood to have signed a five-year deal at St James' Park.
The former England U20 international signed professional terms with Sunderland six years ago following a spell in the club's youth academy.
