Celtic forward Georgios Samaras is being heavily linked with a move to Newcastle following the World Cup. The Greek international is currently out in South Africa and has been tipped to leave Parkhead later this summer and is keen to return to the Premier League.

Several clubs have already enquired about the former Manchester City star and now the Toon seem to be at the top of the list of those lining up to sign him.

The 25-year-old is staying tight-lipped on his future but did say: "When I get back to Celtic for pre-season, then we'll talk about my future there.

"At the present time, I am only concerned with Greece."
