Newcastle United chief scout Graham Carr is confident owner Mike Ashley won't sell off their stars.
United fans have always been sceptical of Ashley after he sold Andy Carroll to Liverpool for £35m.
Yet many have now reflected on this since and felt the move was good business with new goal-getters like Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba on board.
Carr said: "He doesn't want to sell players.
"He wants to try to keep taking the club forward.
"He wants us to stay where we are on a regular basis."
