Newcastle United are lining up a bid for Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing.
Spearing has enjoyed a successful loan with Bolton Wanderers at the Championship.
Toon are keen on the midfielder, along with Liverpool teammate Andy Carroll, currently on-loan at West Ham United.
