Newcastle United are eyeing Cagliari youngsters Gianmarco Paulis and Simone Solinas.
Paulis, 18, is a central midfielder, while Solinas, 17, operates as a forward and both have been enjoying rave reviews for their Primavera performances so far this season.
TMW says Newcastle are competing with Ipswich Town for the pair.
